my stokkes black too, thought it was best for keeping/looking clean and best for boy or girl.

Is anyone else getting scared about being a mum?

I mean I'm not going to be a career woman, or so and so's wife or just plain old Missy, I'm going to be someones mum, that is going to be my life role, its quite daunting.

I'm getting impatient to meet my little bundle already but then there's a part of me thinking I like my life the way it is, please don't change. It is a daunting prospect and I think theres loads of things we'l get wrong, but there is also loads of things we'l get right. It's hard not to worry though, especially if you're like me and have zero experience with babies :o I worry he'l be crying and crying and I just won't know what to do.

But think of those times when they are crying and you pick them up and they hear your voice as you walk in the room reassuring them you are coming and they arent dumped in the woods with the bears and you touch the covers and they quieten immediatey because they know you are there and you pick them up and they nuzzle into you knowing they are safe and stop crying immediately and 2 minutes later are fast asleep in your arms because you are the person they feel safest with and whose voice and smell can make everything better.

You know what to do.. you just dont know that you know it yet.

That is lovely, brought a tear to my eye.

On that note I'm off to bed, please baby if you're listening, please give me ONE night, where you don't repeatedly ram my bladder, mummy doesn't like it and neither does Daddy because I wake him up when I go to the toilet. Thanks :happyhear
