Mirror he is gorgeous. Samuel was my first choice name but baby just didn't look like a samuel :D
He has so much hair! He looks like he is a few months old already :rotfl:
Hope you have recovered from the dramatic birth! I love reading birth stories, they are all so different. Added my own experience beneath yours. I think I was VERY lucky with my hospital experience. Everyone so nice and lovely facilities.

Congratulations flower! Another big baby!! And another lovely name!

he feels like he is a few months old at 9lb 120z. my other two were 6lb4oz and 7lb3oz but the other two had lots more hair than samuel

he is feeding really well and doing good thankyou, i feel much better than i did now im home, the hospital and all the midwifes were really lovely but i just needed to be home.

i was looking forward to being able to move around normally after giving birth rather than waddling but with these stitches along my stomach no such luck yet although im doing well.x

i keep looking at him and wondering how an earth he fitted in my belly lol he is longer than the other two as well at 57 cm.

because ive had casearen hubby has to give me injections for the next 6 days, i really didnt like the glint in his eye when the midwife told him that lol

hope everyone is doing ok, i have read back a few pages but am too tired to concentrate really. x

What sort of injections mirror??! Didn't have those with DS2. Just take it easy. No lifting, hoovering etc and take it easy basically. It's major surgery you have had and people forget that!

Why do you have to have injections????

Let's see if this works, following a quick tutorial from OH

    DSC01423a.jpg

Hope it's not huge and takes up a whole page! This was me at 29 weeks.

Baby is really active tonight and you can see loads of movements in my belly, but every time I tell OH to look he glances for 5 seconds then looks away! Of course baby stops soon as he looks and starts again soon as he looks away. He isn't going to see anything looking for 5 seconds! Grrrr!!!

is it so u dont get blood clots in your legs? if it is they sting and you should have some sexy knee high stockings to go with them, the give them out 2 every1 in our hospital that had a bmi 30 or over at the booking appointment or if u take medication... its to try and stop women going back in to hospital after birth

if it for that they sting so dont rub them lol my b/f injected me and must of did it wrong i ended up with huge purple bruses at the tops of me legs lol

    but i could be wrong

i miss my bump, i think i need another am not going to wait so long this time

I have to have an injection at my pre-op appointment the day before my section - think it's for blood thinning to prevent clots like lozzy said. Hope I don't have to have them after too!

  • Thanks girls! I need to stop worrying... Everything so far (apart from the horrid MS at the start) has gone so well, I guess it all seems too good to be true. Will see what my glamtastic midwife says on Friday.

Lirin - your bump is lovely and neat, just like a stuck-on beach ball!

WW - so that was a couple of weeks ago? I guess I'm not that much smaller than you... Did you find out the sex?

My friend who had a girl first had a sprawling bump, with her second she was all out front and had a boy... Not sure how much I really believe all that old clap-trap though to be honest. But yes, I'm team yellow - think I'm secretly hoping for a boy but only coz I've never been a girly-girl and so I'm not sure how I'd cope with a daughter who was into pink and princess stuff!!
