Telnet is a protocol. There is a telnet client built into windows yes accessible by typing telnet into run or command prompt.
You are then connecting to an external server which has the star wars thing on [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net." [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

No. Telnet is a protocol that allows communication between computers. When you type this, you are connecting to another computer somewhere in the world which is sending you the images.Simon_B wrote:Thats amazing is it built into windows?0

I go into "Run", type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" then a box appears saying "Connecting To towel.blinkenlights.nl" then it disapears and nothing else happens. Am I missing something?0

Your firewall will block it - you have to tell it to allow the connection to happen. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0
