Study Guide Book Recommendation

Looking for recommendations on study guide books that will help me to get prepared and ready for my Distance Learning Degree. especially one that helps me get organised and teaches me to utilise my time wisely!!!

i have a Stella Cottrell book called The Study Skills Handbook, and its my bible!0

I got OU study guide for fiver in a sale. It is a touch dated, but very useful for all the key skills.:beer:0

Most of it is common sense, and a book isn't going to teach you that - it will just rob you of £20 odd, and *just* buying a book will not guarentee anything...
Get assignments done at the first opportunity, don't leave revision to the last mintue, try to work consistantly. Treat yourself for making deadlines.
If you are doing distance learning, have protected study time (and at the same time each week) and stick to it - never use it for anything else, other than the most severe emergency.
Also, it's surprising where you can find "dead time", I get so much reading done on the bus between home and the hospital I'm currently based at - time that otherwise would be lost...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -
Have managed to borrow the OU book and have ordered the Stella Cottrell book as well
