I've successfully used cream cleaner to get rid of stains like that  They have bleach and abrasive in them.

You lot are ace

Cream cleaner and a lot of elbow grease has got the majority of it off. Success! I'm going to give it another go with Stardrops in a bit, but it's barely noticeable now.

Glad to be of service
Try gently rubbing the remaining stain with some more cream cleaner, then leave for a while (making sure it doesn't dry out). That may work.

I use bicarb and a lot of elbow grease and find that works well.0

Hi, I've got black worktops and a love of curry, and I use straight bleach all the time to get rid of the turmeric stains.
I've used it on every worksurface I ever had for this purpose, and none of them have stained even slightly.
If you are worried, try it on a little bit under the 'lip' of the worksurface before you put it on the top - it takes about 30 seconds to dissolve the stain, then you can wipe it off.
Hope this helps.0 -
I've removed curry stains from worksurfaces with Milton Sterilising liquid (the stuff you get in the baby aisle for cleaning bottles, teats etc).
I just poured a small pool onto the stain and left it for a while and it did the trick.
Perhaps it would be worth putting a bit on a part of your work surface that you can't see to test it first (ie where your microwave is placed etc).0 -
Ive always used Mr muscle kitchen cleaner to get rid of curry stains. Weird how it turns them orange tho before you wipe it off!!
