Hi guys, I'm not sure where I stand with this and wondered if anyone would know the details?
I had a loan around 8 or 9 years ago, it had ppi on. Around 6 years ago, I wrote to the bank as I felt at the time. I had been mis sold ppi. 2 or 3 letters back and forward occurred and in the end they turned me down as they felt I hadn't been missold.
How do I stand with this? The claim was originally entered within th 6 years, but I was fobbed off? Do I have any kind of case?

I would give it another go by completing the reclaim questionnaire below.

If you are dissatisfied you can go to the Financial Ombudsman Service if it was from a bank, a building society or, if it was after 14 January 2005, anybody else.0

I would recontact the bank and make a fresh claim.
In the end its only costing you your time and nothing else.
If they turn your claim down again then as said earlier refer it to the ombudsman.
Good luck.0 -

Just noticed that you said this.
If they told you in writing that you had six months to go to FOS then you will be timebarred. If they did not then you can try again.0
