Co Cork - where to stay?

I'm looking for recommendations on places to stay and/or visit during a short trip to Co Cork next month please. Been looking on the 'net for places near Cork and both Blarney and Cobh look good so far, with reasonably priced B&B rooms and lots of local attractions etc.
Would prefer B&B in a quiet location (looking to pay around 30-40 euro pp/pn) and we like to visit historical places (Blarney Castle is on the list so far!) scenic views/walks and also hope to see some Dolphins if possible!
Any other "must see/do" things whilst we're there, or other locations that you would recommend?

You should visit Kinsale - very picturesque"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0

you HAVE to do the distillery - Jamesons. Tour and whiskey tasting. It was OUR little 'treat'. Blarney is over rated (I didn;t fancy kissing a stone that thousands of other dirty germy pox ridden people had kissed before me) but frisk the bushes under the stone and you might get lucky. There's also money in the ponds and streams around blarney castle too.just in case you need to know:

Alternatively try staying at The Willows B+B in Carrigaline which is a great base for touring around West Cork . Mrs O Leary will give you the best breakfast you have ever had ....and she is very knowledgable about the area . Vist Clonakilty and Courtmacsharry , you will love Co Cork , enjoy yourself.0
