I seem to remember a short while ago (but can't find the thread), that there were some posts discussing whether or not BACS can be carried out in a LTSB branch. Reason I ask is that I'm thinking of transferring funds from an Incentive Saver (via Vantage) to Nottingham esaver 2. I've just phoned LTSB to ask what the daily transfer limit is and they said £10K, if I wanted to do more than that I'd have to go to a branch who could arrange a BACS transfer. I mentioned that I did not want a CHAPS payment, but BACS as I would lose less by using BACS than paying for their CHAPS service. However, as I say I thought I'd remembered some differing opinions about whether branches can arrange BACS (the CS person on the 'phone assured me that they can). Any confirmation on this, please?

I could do BACS online on more than one day, but would rather do it in one go.
