hsbc first proposal or lump sum

hsbc have offered to clear outstanding balance of loan plus extra £600 cash. can i refuse this and request payment in full lump sum and continue to pay remaining balance on outstanding loan amount as normal. or do i have to accept their offer,
any help appreciated.

Was this a mis sell win?if it was, if your account is not in arrears they should give the refund to you and reset the loan without ppi,this will reduce your monthly loan payment by the ppi total amount.0

yeah, it was mis sold, the account has never been in arrears but the only option they have given me is the one in writing which is what i have written above. how do i go about getting the lump sum as apposed to the proposal they have offered me?

Look for a contact telephone number on the letter and address, e mail address etc.
My hsbc letter said i had 6 weeks to accept or refute the offer or it would be rescinded, so make haste.
Ive heard of people deciding to reduce their outstanding loan with the money ,but not of the banks decision to make this part of the offer.
In the end they are returning money paid by you for a service you claim you were not aware of and did not need, so they are only returning the money you've paid plus interest so I can't see them making this stick, unless the loan was in default or in arrears which you state it is not.0
