Request Halifax/HBOS statements

Hi all,

Hope you can help but i've been looking for ages to find my answer but just cant see it anywhere so have decided to post.

I need to get a copy of an account myself and expartner had 6 or 7 years ago to prove the balance when i left was in the black.

Does anyone know how best i can contact Halifax/HBOS be letter or email to request the statements please ?

How long will they go back too ?? (i need 5 years) ?

Is there a charge ?(i heard somewhere your not to request statements or they charge individually)??

Hope someone can help please ??

Ring them.

08457 20 30 40 should give you all the answers.

(I used to know them all, but 20 years of knowledge got replaced with a new computer system this week!).

Tried that nothing but option 1 for this 2 for that and then a long long time on hold.

Thats why i requested Mail or email please ?

Write to the local branch. Details from www.halifax.co.uk.

I suspect it will be slow going if it's on a closed account.
