Disable MSN Messenger on boot up?

I am a v occasional user of MSN Messenger, so I don't want to remove it altogether, but I find it v irritating waiting for it to start up when I boot up my pc. Is it possible to do anything about this?

log in and its in the options somewhere...

espresso

Open MSN Messenger, Tools, Options, General Tab. Uncheck Automatically run messenger when I log into windoze box.

jonregester

Just click start
then run
then type in msconfig
click the tab marked start up
look for messenger
un tick it
