confusing esa letter...

do i need to contact them or will it be automatic as ive read on here before?
I can't answer the question... but I would have assumed the DLA decision will not be revisited unless you appeal (which presumably you're well out of time to do). If you get no advice on the matter I'd recommend asking for statement of reasons for the new ESA decision... making a new DLA application... and should they try to use that report again for a new DLA decision then not only will that report be old but you might have DWP evidence that they think it flawed... nevermind you. I find it slightly concerning that the DWP use a medical designed to specifically test in accordance with the WCA of ESA to generate evidence in relation to DLA which has very different criteria.
Incidently I was placed in Support Group after ESA medical... after I had been denied DLA. There was no revisiting of my DLA claim as a result... although I will use that ESA medical report in my new DLA claim coming soon."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

i applied for dla quite a while back now, gave them every piece of info that i could and they got back to me saying that i wasnt entitled to dla at any rate because i failed my esa medical.
i naturally appealed this as ive always said that the esa medical was badly flawed as so many things i told the assessor were missing from her report ( as usual )
i then went for another medical with atos for industrial injuries disablement benefit and that medical once i recieved a copy of it had confirmation that i had lost 70% use of my neck and 50% use of my back amongst other things (chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, regional pain syndrome)
i told all of this to the esa medical person and she just ignored it all from the report...
so i sent a copy of this to the esa people and asked for it to be looked at again, and its obviously worked.. ive done the same with the dla claim but heard nothing as of yet.0 -

Poor letter the second one. I haven't received a single ESA letter except for those regarding cold weather payments that made sense or was technically acceptable. Their admin sails beyond the place marked 'twilight zone' and a lot of this seems to be due to the dire computerised system."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

lol... I got a letter saying I'd failed the WCA before I had a WCA. I've never received a letter saying I'd passed the WCA although I've been in Support Gp for over a year now. One person in the threads passed their WCA and was getting WRAG rate for couple months.. then he got a letter saying he'd failed his WCA and his payments would stop..lol... 'failed the medical he'd passed'..lol. The 'failure' letter turned out to be an error... but it certainly wasn't simple or pleasant to resolve.
But I think you can be confident in this case..lol... honest!"Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
Could it be you were only on the contribution part of ESa pending the appeal?
And
Now they are adding the income related part after passing the medical?
And
You have a pension of £7.10 weekly or saving about £7,751+?0 -

pensions and savings?
nein to both of those, its 7.10 deduction for repaying a social fund loan...0 -

Because you're a 'normal person' that's why..lol. Only the DWP could possibly send a very important letter meant to convey a very important piece of information without actually specifying that information.
I suppose in the work environment it would be a bit like an employer sending a letter saying 'you complained about the recent increase in your salary and we've changed our minds about that'. Any normal person would be left wondering... changed your minds to what?
But don't worry... trust me... I'm not an ATOS doctor
