Yesterday I spent £70 and had so much stuff I thought I wouldnt be able to carry down to the car myself. The SA had just started working (after whizzing around the store herself to get the bargains, fair enough) and she was all flustered, almost tutting at the amount of stuff I had, and feeling very sorry for the old lady behind me who had come to give her film reel in to develop some photos. Yes I was at the photo cash desk but so what. I asked her to call out some prices, she said she couldnt do that as it doesn't show up as you put them through the till but it's a 'saving' anyway. Then she mumbled and muttered about the safety hazard of leaving all the bags in the aisleway as I asked if I could run down to my car and swap with dh to come and collect my stuff. In the end I just took it all down myself. She wasnt mean but no way would she have welcomed separate transactions.
I think she was miffed that she didnt get more time to shop
or
that they think we're greedy just because it's 75% off.
I don't knowbut going back there now!
We had battle axe customers in there!! The amount of snotty "are you doing next years shopping already dear"'s i got were unreal....(me and mum so we had a LOT of stuff between us)......and after one woman tutted and scowled the third time, we had to say something back to her!!!
Cheeky $£%$£% because we saw her in there AGAIN filling her boots (basket) when we were on our 2nd time round.....and she had the nerve to throw us snotty looks!! GAA!!!
nearly a boots war yesterday!!

I've only just noticed that the Boots magazines should be swiped with an advantage card. Has anyone ever been challenged for just picking up half a dozen and walking out with them? I know I haven't. Ooops.....Reading this signature is a waste of time0

Can someone please clarify if you can pay for sale items using Advantage Card points? It appears from earlier posts that this is possible but I just wanted to check.
Thanks.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

Don't worry, I've been doing that for ages! Only realised a while back that it should be scanned ... no one's ever stopped me though! Also have never had a problem with tearing the lovely vouchers at the back out at the till from magazines I've just picked up .. the SA even offers to cut them all out for me!0 -
