Clayton Square was pretty busy at lunchtime but they still seemed to be re-stocking the shelves. Got a Micro Scalextric set for £10 and there were still lots of gift sets etc. left out there. No botanics from what I could see but picked up 3 packs of perfume minis down to £4.50 each and a large display LCD "radio control" clock for my dad for £3.75 (that one wasn't displayed as down by 75% but was anyway). Loads of bloke's Adidas/Fish/Lynx/Kangol giftsets for around a fiver or less. Upstairs had lots of kitchen giftsets (whatsis name - yomamma?) like chrome juicer press for £4.50, aprons and gloves, lots of other stuff like sets of spices (which will probably go off by next xmas). Lots of mugs with hot chocolate in etc. and infinite tins of biscuits.
The smaller branch down on Whitechapel had stuff hidden in the basement including a lot of the No7 sets. They had one of the big No7 snakeskin look boxes left when I was there but no price on it which is a real nuisance when trying to figure out if it's a good deal or not. Couldn't think who to get it for anyway in the end.
If Mrs Mark had been there she'd have probably been able to sort out all the gifts for next year, I'm afraid I tend to just see the gadgets....:rolleyes:Reading this signature is a waste of time0 -

i happened to spot a good gadget today .. i got a bush DAB radio for £9.99(£40 in arogos) ... so i can finally listen to city fm"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0 -

Cool, though I tend to find I can hear City FM on any radio, it's in the background on my landline phone, I'm fairly sure it's fizzing away in my fillings when I sleep.... they should never have let them have the beacon.
£9 is excellent though, good spot!Reading this signature is a waste of time0 -

The £50 boxes are now £12.50 in Liverpool. None left in Clayton Square, but they had quite a few in Speke.....not with all the bargains, but just to the side of the till on the No7 counter. Loads of discounted Barbie and Mary Kate & Ashley stuff there too. HTH0 -
Forgot to mention the footspas they were putting out around 10am this morning in Clayton Square. Down to £6.25p.....a great present. Worth keeping a look out for.
BTW....they were on the top shelf in the corner of the bottom floor.....right by the tills.0 -
Just wanted to say a hugh thanks for the advanced notice of the sale, managed to get quite a few bargains and would have missed them otherwise! Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

Did anyone get a Bagpuss hot water bottle cover for 50% or 75% off.
They are 50% off online (£15 down to £7.50) which means they are not part of the 75% reductions stock.
In our store there were a couple still marked at £15 well out of the way of the sales stuff. Is it likely to be £7.50 instore as well ?
I suppose I could just ask but you feel a bit daft0
