Been to Boots today, Botanics - no body bars to be found and tried to get Body Butter with £1.4? cleansing gel, told offer doesnt work because of price, told them I'd had a free product with 99p bars, but I had to get £1.99 Moisture Enhancing Body Balm. Used 100point voucher and got £5 Body Butter free.
Also used a 150point voucher from ACM on Trevor Sorbie Shine Spray which I got for £1.99 with £3 voucher.
Got a few other bits to get another No.7/ hair voucher with over £5 spend.

So: spent £5.62
saved £9
got 264points
£5 No.7 and £3 hair voucher

Happy with that.

if you want codes there is a section on shop but don't drop called discount codes and vouchers just go in there and either look or do a search. CRIKEY everyones gone discount code mad.. its funny how everyone wants a piece of the boots action and the threads over-run when theres something going cheap!!

Have been a lurker of these boards for a week or so now and have just plucked up the courage to go and give the Botanics offer a go! Went to our small shop in town thinking there probably wouldnt be many botanics stuff, but boy was I wrong! there was loads of it, but no 99p bars unfortunatly :-( (by the way do people normally find these beside the normal soaps?)
So I checked out the bath section and found Waffle Body Buffers for £1.50 each, only 2 left so grabbed those, then got 2 Body butters-£5, picked up 2 boots mags, got my Nana to get one with her advantage card, then split my shopping in two, and got my magazine and then the voucher in it scanned by the nice young SA, then my nan ripped them out the mag for her! hehe
So each transaction cost only £1.50 and I got 200 points back on a £3 spend! not bad! Definatly have the bug now! It sounds silly but it really is such a rush to get great bargains! Going to a bigger boots tomorrow to get more and to check out what gifts sets there are in preparation for mondays sale!
By the way, does anyone know if you're limited to how many magazines you can 'purchase' using your advantage card?

Good haul for me today

Got 7 Pur: phuel mens grooming products reduced to £1 each. They are worth between £13.50 and £16 per product :j - paid with points

Also bagged, for my OH, 8 reduced tins of Protein/Energy shake drinks reduced from £6.29 each to £1

Loads of clearance items dotted around the store including loads of Botanics items reduced to £1.50 each but while I was looking at the main clearance shelves one of the SA's came round removing all the clearance stickers off them - Can't think why :rolleyes:

Also loads of little boxes of hair sachets, self tan corrector wipes, hair bobbles and bands and John Frieda Radiant Red stuff at reduced prices between 5p and 50p - This was Walsall main branch in Park Street.

In the smaller Boots in the Saddler centre (opposite Argos) they had boots own brand hair dyes reduced in a box by the till for £1 each and tons of Botanics Hair shine serum reduced to 50p each (also some day shift lotion? priced at £1.98 each on clearance) guess what I tried - Unfortunately no luck for me, SA wouldn't override for the freebie and the points didn't add on either. They were scanning the clearance sticker barcode and not the product barcode so I think that may have had something to do with it.
Oh well if you don't try you don't get.
