I just got back from my first Boots tart trip!
I was going to wait for my Pigsback voucher to come, but I had to go into town to pick up a script so I couldn't resist. I bought £5 worth of product so I could get the No.7 and haircare vouchers.
My purchase:
Botanicals loofah £1.85
Body bar x 3 £2.97
Shower cap £0.79
Total £5.61
Free:
Botanicals Face Renewal Cream SPF 12 £6.99
Face Defence Moisture Cream SPF 15 £5.99
Enriching Body Cream x 2 £10.98
£29.57 worth of product for £5.61 :j
I was too shy to tear out the 100 point voucher in the magazine before the sale rang through, but I'll have it for next time.
There must not be any other money savers in my town, because
there are about half dozen each of body bars and loofas left, as well as an endcap of Botanics clearance items. I don't like putting my personal information online, but if anyone wants the location of the store, please pm me. It's in southeast Kent.Hi, I'm Mich

EDIT: Can you tell I haven't been out shopping today?! If I'm not buying from Boots, I'm reading about the flamin' stuff! x0 -

I agree it is a star product.removes makeup without harsh rubbing and leaves eyes mositurised without any stinging which other products can cause.

I'm getting ready for Monday (when I am getting up early to be at the big boots in town at 9am). I'm sorting out my vouchers in order so I don't get mixed up and I've written a list of all the things I need to get. I'll grab the bargains first, then go the advantage machine for the ac vouchers. I've got my list sorted to remind myself of what I'm going to get and the vouchers I have to hand over as well. :j
well snap! when I go shopping I have an envelope for Boots Tescos and Smiths with a list on the outside of each and the vouchers inside with the correct card too!
family think I'm nuts & won't go with me to any of these 3 shops!
I have the last laugh as I get so many things for such little cost and points too. I love this forum and the lovely people!0 -

Hi, I have just PM'd you as I'm not sure about the rules on listing codes on this forum (maybe someone could let me know? Many thanks).
Hope it helps! x0 -
This Boots tarting is getting to me - I was in a local town today and couldn't go past the shop without nipping in!
My Mum had said she wanted the some of the Night Shift Moisture Creme. While she and my Dad were in another shop I nipped back, managed to find the last Body Bar, grabbed the other creme (not enough time to check for mags) and was back outside at the meeting point by the time they'd finished. I presented her the Boots bag with a very large grin on my face.
My Dad is convinced I'll be banned from Boots one day!0 -
I'll try and keep this post updated with the Botanics offer details:
Buy any Botanics product (except cosmetics or miniatures) and get one moisturizing product free. PLUS there is a voucher in the Boots Jan/Feb magazine for 100 AC points when you buy any botanics product. This offer is good through 30/1/07.
The paid for product can be the £.99 body bar, clearance items, or bath items like the loofah. So long as it has the Botanics name and is not a cosmetic or miniature item. You can buy multiple items in one transaction, such as 3 paid for, 3 free, but you can only use one of the 100 point vouchers. It is to your advantage to make your total purchase just over £5 because if you spend £5 or more in one purchase, you will get two vouchers good for £5 off no.7 products and £3 off professional hair care products. (I'm not sure how long the voucher offer is going on. Can someone let me know so I can update this? Cheers!)
Free items that people have gotten successfully:
Body Butter £5
Face Lift Firming Cream
First signs of ageing Face renewal cream
Pore Perfecting Night Cream
Botanics stretch mark correcter (£4/5.99)
Enriching Body Cream £5.49
Face defense moisture creme 50ml £5.99
Face Renewal Cream £6.99
Instant glow tinted moisturiser
Responsive moisture lotion
Day shift moisture cream
mens anti-ageing moisturiser SPF 15
Moisturising body balm 200ml £3.00
moisturising eye creme 25 ml £6.99
night shift moisture creme 50ml £5.99
Enriching body cream
Overnight Foot Rescue Cream
Responsive moisture lotion 75 ml £4.99
pore perfecting night gel cream
Foot butter
Things that have not been succesful:
Moisturizing sugar scrub
Moisturizing foam facial wash
botanics facial serum
Also, there has been some trouble with the tills if you mix dark green and light green items, though the SA should override it.
