  • I think I am finally getting the hang of it, first transaction bought chewabble vitamin c 1.75 (used 300 points voucher), cold and flu capsules 99p (100points voucher), some hair stuff (£3 voucher) and a couple of others bits to bring it to £5.18 but gained 425 points.
Second transaction £6.50 no 7 bag (but forgot to use my 250 points voucher did remember the £5 voucher though), some botanics with free moisturiser and some more hair bits, came to £5.58 and gained 125 points (should have been 375 though:rolleyes: ).
This boots was really small but I still gained 650 points and saved £21.99 on a £10 spend.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • As a complete newbie to these forums may I say a huge THANK YOU:beer: to everyone who has posted easy to understand info on these great deals.

Tried shopping in Herts on Saturday and was sadly disappointed. So tried again in Essex today and wow. Did 2 of the 641 and had no problems whatsoever. Hubby then decided he wanted a go and did 4 separate transactions, lol. I think the Boots SA's now know we have 4 daughters who are all going on holiday soon!!!!

Must have saved an absolute fortune, I haven't checked it out properly yet.
I did get some Botanics too, and some extra points.

Your posts really make me laugh - as a counsellor and fellow Bootser I feel I may have to offer my services! I won't be offering a BOGOF on sessions combined with 3 for 2 however!

... a mixture of elation, anxiety and terror at the thought that the deal won't work for you!

I know! The buzz I felt at walking out that door with an arnful of goodies was great! Who needs anything else when you have Bootsing:p

LMAO:rotfl: just had a thought. Next year in the Oxford English Dictionary

Bootsing = terminology for mental and physical exertion used by Boots customers to track down best deal:p
The world is full of Pink Fluffy Clouds......you just need to open your eyes to see them:)

Rather scary but I often dream about Boots and deals,(when I'm asleep, not just drooling over this thread) does this happen to anyone else or do I need a doctor?

    "Hiya Wendym

Can you tell me if there was much botanics or No 7 suncare in Birstall store (is this one near IKea?). Thanks in advance.

    Rebecca x"

    Hiya Rebecca

Yes it's the one near Ikea. I had to dash to meet my husband, and didn't manage to find any Botanics at all - sorry to be so feeble. An SA in another store told me last week that it's new policy to have the range spread throughout a store, rather than on one stand.

I was there at about 2.30, and I'd say there were about 20* No7 suncare things...definitely hair spritz and a facial cream that was £8-ish, and body cream.

    * not different items...total number of everything, if that makes sense.

The SA took for ever to scan a reduced sticker, and I think if a queue hadn't built up she might have asked the No7 SA (sadly, right next door to the till) to check, so it might be worth paying at the pharmacy. Good luck!

I got the 6 for 1 deal today but really wanted the body buffer srub thingy and asked the N07 SA. She said that they were OOS and didnt expect any more in as -
they are going on a training course soon and will be told if it is being repackaged or the sun stuff is being discontinued.

Will try and find the scrub in another store tomorrow.
