Unfortunately, my Boots are not doing the BOGOF on suncare - maybe it's because I'm in Devon and they don't have any trouble shifting it down here as everyone needs it! :rotfl:
where abouts in Devon are you? It's working all around Exeter and Plymouth. There are no signs up, but it does work0 -
I hope aberstudent got a question like:
Napoleon's preparations for the battle of Austerlitz required the same precision and cunning as successful Bootsing - discuss.0 -
Well i went to trafford centre and to the boots card machine got a couple of vouchers and forgot my card and left it in.Then i went upstairs and had a look round got the botanics scrub mit and some shampoo went to checkout had forgot my pin number and lost my card. I phoned up straight away cos there is about £20 on it got the bits anyway. Must be having a blonde day lol. There wasnt any suncreams left in TC so i will stick to Stretford although going to Altrincham on Wednesday.

Hi Pingua, very kind of you to ask! Exam was dreadful ... but prospect of Bootsing got me through!
OH has made me ill so struggled to Boots to get cough medecine and max strength flu capsules with magazine voucher - some people have been having problems with 100 points mag voucher - others are fine ... will call CS to ask for the 100 points that wouldn't scan...
Just a note to everyone, there seem to be lots of people out there who are afraid of of SAs / being wrong at the till etc ... personally I think this sort of thing is an excellent confidence booster if you have low self-esteem - you are allowed to shop where you want, you are allowed to buy what you want when it's offered, you are allowed to be wrong sometimes and ou are allowed to tell others when they are wrong, simply and forcefully! We are not doing anything wrong or illegal ...
...so, if you think I'm waffling then please ignore mebut if you are nervous, use this as a confidence booster and go for it!
I hate to hear how people are afraid of SAs and getting a good deal!0 -

If that was the case they would have had to invent a new class of honours degree ... a first first class award!
Loving all our Boots knowledge, much more useful than Napoleon!0 -
I had a great haul today (was a bit nervous so went for the three suncreams rather than the six.)
Got 3 x No 7 Face SPF25 lotion @9.50 for the 3 (minus the £5 voucher, so 4.50 for 3)
Got botanics body buffer at 1.95 (no bars left) and got daily hand therapy at 3.99 for nothing
And got 2 x boots lozenges for sore throats on BOGOF + 100 points extra from magazine voucher
Totally amazed that it worked - even after reading this, I thought Monday morning would be a bad time to try, but maybe they aren't going to fix the glitch after all?!0 -
My second boots parcel turned up today crammed with lots of gadget gifts :j Very pleased cause the first one contained lots of perfume sets that I have no home for as I went wild with the mouse when ordering!
Do boots employ mystery shoppers cause I'd love to be one for them?Trying to earn £2015 in 2015. Slightly early start. £175.88 today.

i tried it in Plymouth the other day and it didn't go through. maybe it's changed? I tried to get hair shimmer sun thing, lip shimmer sun thing and 4 in 1 wipes, which has worked for other people. Maybe I'll give it another go this week if I can find the time.0 -
wendym wrote:Suncare BOGOF/ 342 working today in Birstall, Leeds, where there are still plenty of the burgundy bags. SA bemused, but the long queue put her off querying it.
The 250 pts voucher inside says 'not to be used with any other offer or voucher'. Is it being refused with the £5 off voucher?
Hiya Wendym
Can you tell me if there was much botanics or No 7 suncare in Birstall store (is this one near IKea?). Thanks in advance.
