SuperNoodle - Post one used to contain all the new offers and was updated regularly by the lovely Liverbird. Bham-Dave's post with all the info was post two (he's lovely too!)

Pash is quite right - you are not allowed to chat on here or post a list of your latest bargains - only information on new offers or glitches.

This thread has recently turned into a nice chatty board again - but believe me it has been a very sterile place for a long time - unfortunatley the chat isn't allowed though and if it continues I fear it will be closed again which is a real shame.

The big difference now is that the first post is no longer regularly updated so the questions about each offer are repeated even more often than they were before.

Strangely the people who moaned about the chat never seemed to post anything after the thread was closed and a new one opened - they probably stop coming on after they realised that the people they'd moaned about were the same people who were finding and posting all the bargains - a case of bitting the hand that feeds you.

Only just seen this thread and have never done any of the Boots deals.
Decided to have a go tomorrow and would like to ask you knowledgeable people, what are the offers I should look out for?

    Thank you!
  • Thanks for clarifying matters, El6724, its just a shame that the rules of the thread are not posted on post 1 so we can follow them. The thread was like this when I found it and thats why I have stayed x

You've come at a nice time SuperNoodle - I hope it stays this way for you and that you have fun.

NEgirl - nice to see you posting again - hope all is well with you.

I'm going now quick before I get told off!

It is a shame that the offers arent updated like the pugsback thread, because wading through 50+ pages of info (some of it confusing for us newbies!) is offputting!

I have only read this post, because I realised that I can keep up to date with it as it is only up to page 9, and will check back frequently!

I can't WAIT until tomorrow! Have 2 scheduled stops at different Boot's! and planning to spend my £12 advantage points too (can you get advantage points if you pay with advantage points if you see what i mean?) i had pigsback boots vouchers but spent them last week on stuff i knew i definatly wanted and wasnt much left of in our boots!

happy shopping tomorrow!! Hopefully i'll post again soon :)

so we are not supposed to discuss boots only allowed to post new offers?
i could read the boots magazine to do that or have a look at the ac machine
it won't be as interesting or fun though will it.Im unhappy now this was a really nice board- is there any point coming here now.

the way i see it the thread hasnt been closed so it must be ok
i think people were just pointing out that there were problems in the past and going completley off topic?! i think and hope thats it anyway!
im away till friday now dread to think what i will miss and how many posts i will have to back track!!
its got that bad im even dreaming about boots offers!
  • Don't know about anyone else (maybe its a newbie thing?) but I just can't go a day without checking in on this thread and I even make a note of the last post number I have read so I can continue smoothly with the flow! I just don't want to miss a single thing!

Lovinit, sometimes I can't get to sleep for planning my visit the next day lol and I'm taking the same attitude as you re this thread.

    xx

Sonee, nothing has been said by the board moderators about closing the boards down so I see no need for concern at the moment. Its the posts discussing whether or not discussing Boots is allowed that are likely to cause a problem so until anything is said to the contrary I'd say we continue as we have been... its when people start discussing what they are giving their dogs for dinner that evening that there will be a problem.

To keep it on topic... PINGA14 asked..

Here's a link to read any of the offers that were posted before this new thread was started at the weekend but to be honest most of the new information has been posted again in this thread.

    http://www.boots.com/microsites/microsite_info_template.jsp?contentId=2865
Those are the offers on the AC machine at present

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=349088&page=5on that link if you scroll down to post #82 there is a list of items to look out for when spending £5 off No7 vouchers which are currently available when you spend £5 instore. Anything under £5 within the ranges allowed will be free with the vouchers anything over £5 you pay the difference. There are some exclusions on the reverse so if in doubt read those before going to pay.

Attached to the £5 no7 voucher also comes a £3 voucher to spend on Professional Haircare - so pick something from the ranges allowed.. off the top of my head I can only think of toni&guy, trevor sorbie and lee stafford but there are other ranges too. Again anything under £3 will be free. Anything over £3 you pay the difference.

There's the mega botanics offer which is explained in detail here, including products that the offer will work on.

If i think of any more I will add them.
