Sorry if its been posted before but I've had visitors so not been able to keep up...noticed yesterday that some of the 'cold and cough' remedy stuff has been reduced from £1.99 to £0.99 in our local store...sell by dates are good and long so with 100pts voucher in mag good time to stock up! (unless the first aid cupboards already bulging with the BOGOF throat lozenges etc!)0

Thanks.
ouch! for the wax have tried and rejected but the boots own brand facial hairremoval cream is great for eyebrows(use a cotton bud to apply it on hairs you want to remove) leave for 5minutes and thats it.Make sure you wash your facewith cold water before and after and do a skin test first.
currently on offer at £1.29 (pack with lady with red top on)
Don't buy the eyebrow shapers they are useless. How about treating yourself to a botanics bodybar to get the botanics tinted moisturiser free.Once your eyebrows are done you can have a bit of a light tan tint on your face aswell. How about spending about 5 to get the voucher for the 641 no7 bogof...............sorry i could go on and on about this nowLove can tame the wildest0 -
planetjanet wrote:I was in Warrington Gemini store this evening and I was hovering in the NO.7 section with 2 bottles of sunscreen when the very helpful NO.7 SA came over and stated "did you know that the No.7 suncare is on a "double discount" at the moment?" - I pretended to look puzzled and asked her to explain. She said that as the No.7 suncare is going to be re-packaged then they were on a 342 and BOGOF to get rid of them before the new stock arrives.

This would be similar to the Daniele Ryman stock. Lots of people, including me, fell for the 'any 2 items for £10' promotion. Considering lots of the range was priced between £15 - £18 for treatments and anti ageing serum capsules, 2 for £10 was a very good deal.
Shortly after though, it was all reduced to 75% off! Some posters have even reported having 75% knocked of the 75% off price!!!
Boots knew what they were doing all along. This was old stock at the end of its shelf life. I have read posts where people have said products have gone off. Floral body spritz with no smell, rock hard body clay mask...
The no7 suncare was only repackaged last year so it seems strange to do it so soon. If it is it will be bad for trying to exchange this stuff later in the year.........xx:happylove

I got £118 of suncare for only paying £4.50
I had a 250 extra points voucher. I only used my AC on he 1st purchase.
If you take off the points that were added to my AC I actually only paid £2.89
SA also gave me a voucher each time I did a transaction even though I only handed over 50p on 2 out of the 3 transactions.

Seems like a sensible warning...
Remember that sun products have a definite lifespan (the SPF deteriorates), and this begins from the moment of prduction, not buying.
Getting stuff for the summer is probably OK - you should expect lotion to have a shelf life of around 30 months (and usually 12 months once opened), but bulk buying to the extreme will leave you with products that are not fit for purpose...
So, bulk buying may not really be money saving...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -
The Boots I went to today had no signs either bogof or 3 for 2 on No7 suncare, but 6 for 1 still worked. I also bought a No7 uplifting face mask and 2 No 7 suncreams in another transaction as I had a 300 point voucher for the face mask.
I was after some of the pre-tan white bags but they didn't have any.0 -

Hi, sun protection lotion does have a limited shelf life, but bear in mind we should really wear sun protection on a daily basis even in the winter.
Also please use it very generously (it usually says how much you need on the back of the bottle) and reapply at regular intevals.
with this great offer we can all use our sun protection correctly without becoming bankrupt.
I lost my mother to skin cancer and now preach to whoever will listen about using sufficent spf .0 -

No signs in the Boots I went to today either. Did buy 4 of the Hair Spritz and 2 of the Body Buffers - all £5.50 each. I'd already put through a couple of meal deals before that using my points so just did these separately. Came to £5.50 and then I handed over my £5 voucher. They were unsure if it would come off but it did so ended up paying 50p and for some reason got another voucher back so looks like I'll have to do it again sometime. If I had known then what I know now . . .
