BEWARE: RBS freebies not supplied

Our daughter was promised a railcard last year from RBS, her first year as a student. Staff at the branches were unhelpful and no one was able to supply her with the correct phone number or an application form. Now in her second year, she went to her local branch and asked again for the railcard she should have got last year. After being given two wrong phone numbers, the person answering the third, correct, number said she couldn't have a railcard because she's not in her first year!

If your daughter did not get one in her first year for what ever reason she should have raised a concern.
