Can anyone help? Is there a list of firms being dealt with by the FSCS?

Hi guys
We're adding a quick claims handler tool to the PPI guide and one of the issues we want to highlight is whether people should be going to the FSCS instead.
I know there's a thread for defaulted firms but has anyone spotted a list of all the lenders that are being dealt with in this way.
If one exists i know one of you will have a link
Thanks, Wendy

Given that people will only be interested in the company they are complaining about I suggest the FSCS database search here is as good as any.
Remember, though that a firm is only declared in default when the FSCS receives a claim and verifies that the firm cannot meet it. So if yours is the one that causes it, the firm will not be on the database yet.0 -
I found with one of mine, they were not listed as such until the business actually were declared in default, but it's always worth ringing the FSCS who will confirm if your able to make a claim through them. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
