Oh this is a good idea!
Im hoping to get three hampers done for our school raffle, and want to have more in them than Shreddies and soup!:)

Ive saved some cravendale freebies from the last collection, think I might get some of those T bags mentioned earlier, could do a breakfast hamper maybe? Love the idea of using clingfilm and then putting a hair drier on it too!

Morrisons are selling their iceberg lettuces in nice open union jack boxes..good for saving now for nest year, Diamond jubilee/olympics themed hampers perhaps?

This will be a great reminder!

I think beauty hampers are quite easy to do - me and my mom did a few last year. We raided the pound shop first of all. We brought a shower cap and flannel for a pound (one for each hamper). Then those scrunchie things you can buy 4 for £1. We got some nice smellies that were in multi packs and split them all up between them. Then brought multi packs of things like nail files, nail varnish etc. As most of these things are cheap they come in plain white, which you can then put in a homemade hamper and sprinkle some glitter on or confetti - you can go for gold, silver or black and white theme's and they look really glam.

To be honest if you have lots of people to cater for you may not have the time to try your best skills on a hamper... so you could buy some of that celophane plastic wrap from ebay - you can get loads for pence! Then wrap it up in just that and tie a bow round the top.


Something else I did - I brought a bulk pack of mugs from home bargains. I got 8 for £3.99. I then brought those 4 for £1 hot chocolate sachets in Asda (cadburys etc). and a small box of hero's chocs. I then put the sachet in one mug and filled the mug with as many chocs as it could hold. I then put lots of ribbons on the mug and curl them to make it look nice. Then wrap it in the plastic. I spent like £10 and made 8 gifts.

Hope this helps someone I really think they are good ideas :-) (Only problem is I need a new Idea for this year now!)
