  • well after getting an appointment cancelled on the 2nd sep i finally got an appointment last week, was there, for my time, done job search for an hour then it was the appointment, even though i struggled to sleep the night before, and the amytriptyline hangover starting to kick in, and i was a bit cheesed off having to get up early even though i struggled to get to sleep the night before, im not on esa, but i was and appealed, got flung off, thinking off going back on it as this program is not helping, im getting more stressed out as its getting a struggle to find work, so sat down and spoke to the guy, and ive had been put on a 2 day goals course, he was trying to convince me about it, but they way i was feeling, i just didn't feel up to it, i go and see how i get on with it, telling me about other courses as well, and they suggestion that i need to see my doc as he thinks i shouldnt be on the work programme at the moment, got an appointment for nxt week with the docs, hope fully a tablet change and on the list for the cpn, i find this work programme a joke, and its all over the place

my provider seems to be getting a little bit more organised since i last posted. i now have a specific adviser which i i will be seeing once a month. she seems fairly decent and easy going. she wiped out most of the bo**ocks from my action plan that the person i first saw put on it. she wants me to stick with the head shrinking rubbish for now though.
  • i am enjoying the work programme at the moment i have been seeing them once a week i do job search on the computers for about an hour or so. they have also arranged 2 interviews for me in the last week and have offered a few courses that i can go on.

they do seem to be very disorganised tho the office still seems to be getting built....

Had my second appointment with my work programme advisor yesterday, and came out feeling really frustrated, down and fed up with the experience.

I am currently on WRAG awaiting a review in November. The provider I am with has no knowledge of this, as I had to explain it the first time, and yesterday was asked when I next signed!

They then gave me an updated copy of my CV, as the last one I had done, (ironically by the company who work from their offices!) I was told wasnt applicable these days, as it needs to be 'punchier'.

Reading through I realised that a whole chunk of someone elses experience working in the building trade had been put under one of my (clerical) jobs!

I was then told to fill in some voluntary vacancies on my job log for my next appointment, and they gave me one they had spotted which was for working with children, when I had made it clear I would like to work with the elderly and have no interest in children.

I just feel at this moment in time I am dealing with a bunch of incompetent amateurs, who clearly have no idea of my particular situation, and are having to 'deal' with me the best way they can (which isnt very good).

I dont feel at all inspired by their ability or knowledge, and yet, I also feel I am stuck, as I have to attend to receive my money.

I just feel very let down with it all at the moment, having perhaps naively hoping it may actually be a positive productive experience :(
