CSS / HTML / query.

I am creating a page with a number of logos on which will be done in rows of 3, so more can be added.

e.g (x = logo)

When the user mouses over or clicks a logo, I want the information about that company to drop down in an information box.

I would prefer the logos beneath to also drop down so when someone clicks on the top left logo, the effect would be as follows:

i x x

x

x being logos and i being the info about the company.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for css / html/ jquery etc?

Or, I don't mind too much if the information obscures the below logos, e.g.:

i x x

but would prefer 1st option.

Thanks
