I know the government is taking the subsidy of the coaches but this is incredible. Now pensioners have to pay more than non- pensioners.:(

Return journey to London for 2 pensioners £60.00
for non-pensioners £57.0

This is for 23rd Dec, and at other times it normally costs us £10. I expected to pay a lot more, but not more than non-pensioners. :mad:

Just book as non-pensioners

EDIT: Or not - "You can still use the scheme providing you book by midnight on 31 October 2011 and are travelling on or before 31 August 2012" - also try booking for the day before, as Friday is a peak, and you don't get the same discount

Did that Esqui, put in the thursday, it came up as
£60 non-pensioners
£64 pensioners, some body is playing silly !!!!!!s.
Will be trying the trains as soon as they become available.
