I think this piece finally enables us to identify exactly who or what "represents" and has "represented" Excel and VCS in the recent past.

Remember the abortive NPO applications in Melton Mowbray?

A little research and lo and behold a Parvez Mirza and a Naveed M Akbar (as opposed to Navide Akbar) are partners in Legatec Solutions Ltd which is essentially a outsource law firm. Naveed is a barrister and Parvez a solicitor.

This is too much of a coincidence and I suspect that neither Naveed nor Parvez are actually the "Litigation Manager" or ever have been as such but that Legatec Solutions Ltd is more a far more likely candidate.

Legatec are based in Dewsbury, W. Yorks but are somewhat bizarrely listed as "Dormant" at Co. House.
Additionally Parvez has worked in an in-house capacity for a leading Private Parking Company successfully developing a legal department with the aim of increasing company revenue from non-paying motorists usually heeding non-legal advice from Community Forums.

Community Forums = MSE et al?

Naveed has additionally gained substantial experience in the Private Parking Industry and successfully developed Litigation strategies for an industry leader, successfully pursuing evading motorists through the due legal and court process fighting against the public perception that Parking Charge Notices can be safely ignored. Naveed has been at the forefront in the application of existing legal principles to assist in the establishment of legal precedents beneficial to the entire Private Parking Industry.

Never spoil a good story with the truth....

"successfully developed Litigation strategies" ..that'll be the failed NPO then ??

"successfully pursuing evading motorists through the due legal and court process " Really Naveed care to show us some real properly defended cases where you win ?

" fighting against the public perception that Parking Charge Notices can be safely ignored" ..fight all you like the TRUTH is out there !

    "
application of existing legal principles to assist in the establishment of legal precedents beneficial to the entire Private Parking Industry"

er .no again ..I'm afraid ! No legal precedents are set in County Courts ...again I challenge Naveed to show us a genuine precedent set by a Court that can do so...

What a load of Bullpoo !:rotfl:

Obviously so touched by our comments here Legatec's "Who We Are" page has been rewritten in the last few days. There have been amendments to the biogs of Naveed and Parvez (interestingly covering their work for Private Parking Companies - there's a thing) but there is also a notable recent subtraction from the same page and that is the complete removal of any reference to their resident "consultant" a certain Edward Palmer (another barrister but this time from chambers in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent - a man with no fewer than 12 active directorships). Click here to view the Google cache page showing how it was last week compared with the link above to its current rendition.

One wonders why Mr Palmer no longer appears? One also wonders how, if the import of this page is accepted at face value - that the company is active and trading - quite how this equates with the Companies House current registration as "Dormant"?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Oh God help us, when will supposedly educated people learn to spell, and to know the difference between a verb and a noun?

'Edward has been a practicing Barrister since 2001. Edward has successfully engaged in using cutting-edge practice models to enhance the service he provides as a Barrister.'

    practicing = pronounced 'practicking' I presume? :wall::wall:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To "practice" (verb) is to follow a particular craft or profession such as that of a doctor or barrister..... sorry, I'll get my coat.

I quite like the notion that the general public are now credited as having the knowledge that they can be safely ignored.

    Maybe in the USA?

    http://www.world-english.org/practise_practice.htm

Not in the UK though. The verb is 'practise'.
