Seatwave fake tickets

I was supplied counterfeit tickets for an Adele concert. We went on the night only to get turned away. 3 days after the event I haven't received a refund never mind any compensation. I had to take the tickets back to the venue the next day so that they would give me a letter confirming that they were fakes. I've contacted them 20 or so times only to get promised that somebody would return my call. Still not happened. I reckon it's cost me over £100 in taxis, babysitter and driving there and back the next plus phonecalls. They told me that I will eventually get my money back, that's it.
Beware of Seatwave.

I have to say that's extremely poor customer service. Eventually you will get your money back as I know this company rather well in my dealings with it (as a seller and buyer) Its a pity its taken this long and that many calls.
I would persist and not get opff the call until you have reached an outcome. 20 times called! I would have stayed on the call for an answer after 5 times though I have little patience!0 -
I was contacted today by Seatwave, who apolgised for the delay in sorting this issue. They told me that there were large numbers of forged tickets and it took some time to sort due to the scale of the fraud.
I was assured that the refund was never in doubt but the level of compensation had to be agreed.
They have gave me a full refund and asked if I would like two free tickets to another Adele concert of my choice or tickets to another gig, as a offer of compensation. I happily agreed to this, as I think this was a very generous offer and after all they don't actually sell the tickets.
It took a little while to get sorted and I was very frustrated but I'm a very happy bunny now.0
