Centrer Parcs in Holland - anyone been?

Hi, I've just booked to go to De Kempervennen at half term, £334 for 8 people in a deluxe villa, over £900 in the UK!! :eek:

I just wondered if anyone here had been and could answer a couple of questions;

1/ Do they have ovens or just a hob and microwave?

2/ Do they have kettles?

Other than that if anyone has any advice or tips I'd be grateful.

    We did exactly this a few years ago - saved a fortune!

    HaVE TO BE HONEST THO' - CAN'T REMEMBER THE KITCHEN! Whoops sorry! Didn't mean to shout!

    Seem to recall kettle & hob OK (can't recall NOT being able to have a cuppa / bacon sandwich!), but microwave? No idea!:confused:

    Almost sure there was no oven! We went in October & it was misty & cold all week, but eating was fine (I think we ate out once). Pasta?

    Had lots of hot choc in the snowdome, tho'!

    Sorry - not much help at all - but enjoy it!!

    According to the website they have microwave and hob, but there's no mention of a kettle or oven/grill, just want to try and find out before we go.

    Thanks anyway

    Thanks for that Sarahjw, we certainly plan to have a good time. Just looking at how much we've saved compared to going in the UK is making me feel good!:beer:

    I don't know how well you know Holland but when we went we were caught out by the fact that UK credit cards are not accepted in most supermarkets although the supermarket at Centreparks does take them. As we use a credit card for everything we were a bit caught out by that.

    Also there were some free activities that you can book for in advance for example family bowling, football, playstation competitions on certain days - this may not be the case now but worth looking out for.
