office verification number

I bought a copy of office 2007 ages ago and installed it on my pc..then my wifes...then the sons ;).
I've been so generous with it that when I tried to install it on my new laptop I discovered that I'm going to lose some of the features.:eek: It must have been a 3 user copy. Is there any way round this? apart from open office etc?:rotfl:

You probably had a single user lic as it will usually allow you to install it three times. I would authenticate manually, speak to someone and explain that you are replacing an installed copy. I would neglect to mention you have installed it on multiple machines. Depending on the mood of the person answering the phone you may be allowed another install.

Great result there :T Microsoft have an automated service so the small bit of neglect was easier. Office verified and running...cheers.
