Can I get a cancellation charge?
I am in the process of changing my energy supplier form OVO to Scottish Power. My fixed contract with OVO runs out at the end of the month. So I thought I would be orgsanised and start the switch over now. Scottish power won't switch me over before the end of the month but they think that OVO might charge me a cancellation fee because even though they won't switch me over until after my current fixed runs out, OVO will still charge me because I have signed up to scottish power during my current fixed tariff.
Can OVO do this?
