Has anyone used the dell outlet for buying laptops?
im after a budget laptop, and some of the prices on the outlet store seem too cheap to be true, has anyone got any experiences of using them?

Bought two from them, only cosmetic fault was a slight scratch. Wifes one 4 years ago has worked fine from day 1, mine 3 yrs ago had a fault but after 3 returns for repair and an engineers visit it has worked fine since.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Hi,
I've had 3 machines from the outlet site (1 laptop & 2 desk tops) they've always been good value and I've never had any problems. You need to acceot that they may have cosmetic damage (scratch etc.) Latest was a Studio 17 core i7 which I bought last year and paid £600 for.
I would have no problem recomending them based on my experiences.
hope this helps in the decision making.Keep smiling,

I bought one from then 3 or so years ago, the 9400. I dont think you can pay it on finance though, laptop arrived brand new - no difference from new.0

I bought my current laptop from them fairly recently and have had no problems.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0

That HP 630 is actually £199 plus VAT and after trade in so you actually pay £338 for it then cashback and trade in allowance.
Actually looks like a pretty poor spec machine to be honest but if you've got some junk to trade in then I guess it is worth the £240 that you'd end up paying.
