Not sure if this is the right place but worth a try.
A good few years ago now my OH decided to take up black and white photography as a hobby (obviously well before the days of digital cameras.) He bought an Olympus OM1 and an OM10- for those who know about these things - and went on a course and bought all the kit for a photographic darkroom. He used the cameras a bit but the darkroom stuff never even came out of its packaging. There is even a diagram and instructions on how to set up a dark room from his course.
We are having a clear out and it seems a shame just to take it to the dump, I suppose there are still some die hards do their own developing. Is there anyone or organisation we could donate it to?

Either ebay it, or if the hassle is too much ring round nearby schools or colleges to see if they want it - chances are one of them either has a photography course or an after school club - we had one when I was at school. Its the sort of thing that enhances lessons and school life but comes way way down the list when setting budgets.Adventure before Dementia!0

Sell it on ebay, Im sure someone will want it or offer it on freecycle/freegle type giveaway sites:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
If it's in good condition Ebay (like the people above say) is probably your best bet0

Stick it on your local Gumtree, it's free to list.... :money:Not a newbie - my past has disappeared !!!0

Olympus SLR's and lenses still sell on ebay or try your local camera shop. The other items may sell depending on quality and price. Some colleges run photoraphy courses, they may be interested or local photoraphy clubs. Finally, photographic equipment listed on freecycle allways seems to find takers.0

Offer it to the local Art college or 6th form college. DS1 had the option of taking photography at A level... there is never enough equipment!

I advertised my darkroom kit on freecycle - was snapped up* in a couple of days by a keen amateur photographer.
*Pun not intended0 -
i will happily take it off your hands? I am a keen student photographer0

Lenses still have value, everything else, much much less. You may find the cost of postage dwarfs the value of the darkroom kit now, so freegle may be the best place (and take the lenses to a local camera shop who will make you an offer, if there are no spiders/mould inside)0
