15th. Going to set an aim of making that a single figure by end of year. Great calculation....means every 2nd day in the month the money i make is mine to spend however i like.

In reality not every day is a working day. So could change last sum
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • I'm a bit rubbish at things like this but mine worked out at the 6th day of the month. Bit pants since I get paid on or around 25th every month. Certainly doesn't feel like I have that much money left as it always feels like too much month at the end of the money!
Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free :)
    Mortgage free since 2014 :)
  • mine came up as 16, so could be better really... Though only recently having had my 2nd LBM we will be throwing EVERYTHING possible at the debt that is outstanding.
  • Wow - the 7th (or the 10th including groceries).

The slog to get debt free was worth it.

    What a great post OP!

  • Scary stuff, DH has to work 70.6 days to cover one months outgoings.

Thank god for benefits, making it 26 days - so 4/5 days a month of 'spare' money. Although probably more like 27 days as I need to change my monthly budget as no matter how hard we try our shopping is coming over every month :(
    Clean credit file:12 mths
    Car loan: FREE! :j
    THE PLAN: 1.Pay off debt £8808.42(£3254.45, £1570.32, £2698.33, £0:dance:, £1000, £285.32) 2.Save monthly for Christmas/insurance etc £150 per month 3.Save for emergencies /£1500 4.Save for our B&B £????depends which one takes our fancy :D
  • Ohh mine is 20 days, but as of next month it will be 18 when my last loan payment is made, woopiee
    Received £2,626.00 in PPI -2013:j
    Received £1400 charges - 2006:j
  • Mine in theory is day 20 - that surprises me as it doesn't feel like that in reality.

I like the calculation though - my OH is living off his ample savings at the moment so this actually makes me look better off than him for once!!
I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be
