What is your monthly fun money date??
Oregon
I just worked mine out by doing (monthly bills and loan repayments and minimum cc payments) divided by (monthly take home income)
And then multiplied that by 30 (days a month-ish)
And came up with 26!
So I work up until the 26th of each month just to pay my outgoings!!! from the 27th onwards (all 4 or 5 days of it!!) the money is mine all mine.....
SCARY
What's yours?!?!

This is my first time of posting and I love this calculation! I worked mine out at 22 days - but would love to reduce that down even further.

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Mine is the 21st. I like this idea! When i used to work in an hourly wage job, i used to work out how many hours i worked for and how many for the tax man.0

I'm delighted to have lost it to you!
Actually, I've been an avid reader, and secret lurker, for a good two years or so (MSE is my guilty pleasure), but never quite got round to posting!

Ooh, more fun with calculations
If you include mine AND my hubby's income, it's the 10th, but we only finished paying off our debts two months ago (so we had everything pared right down) and technically everything after that goes to savings. It's a good feeling though, knowing that I'm working 20 days towards a deposit

Mine's the 23rd.
What is a bit sad about this is that I don't have any debt and this is just my monthly outgoings so it's unlikely to ever improve:(:( (unless I win the lottery:D)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
