Passport in maiden name

I am travelling on an internal flight to Scotland on 19th January :j ..I have thought about a problem that may arise and would like some advice ....
My passport is in my maiden name - the booking is in my married name - will it be enough to take my marriage certificate with me to check in ??? I am not allowed to apply for a driving licence and the only other photo ID I have (in correct married name) is my bus pass and company badge (but that badge does not show the company(government) for security reasons!!!) I am flying with Flybe ...I have checked their photo ID advice but cant see anything regarding this situation. I got married in 2002...!!!
Thanks for any advice - I have found a helpline number...but its £1 a minute!:eek:

You need to change the name on the passport, or they will not let you fly. The ticket must be in the same name as the passport.
You need to go to the passport office directly and do a fast track application.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I do not think I will be able to do this as the passport office is in Wales!!! The maddening thing is that I booked the tickets, but could not just book them in my maiden name as the name was greyed out and autofilled. Other airlines have advice re marriage certs etc..just not flybe. I think I will be like the people you see wailing on "airline" if they do not let me fly! I only have 2 months left on my passport...would really not be worth the travelling and expense of changing my name for 2 months. ooooooooohhhhh there must be a way round it - I have thought of paying the change of name charge???I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

You don't need to go to the same passport office that issues your passport, you can go to any of the following:
* Belfast
* Durham
* Glasgow
* Liverpool
* London
* Newport
