Working tax and pension credit

Is it only me in the country that claims working tax, child tax and pension credit at the same time. My working and child tax credit has, without any warning been stopped. Contacted the office and they said that they were looking into my claim as it is a complex case. Bear in mind we have been claiming all 3 for over 12 months now and after a few teething problems all was sorted (partners accounts sent back to wrong people). Rung on tues and couldnt make head or tail what was being said, rung again on tues still no success but was told that i had been sent a letter dated the 4 sept. Think they must use pigeons as there is still no letter with todays mail and it is now the15th. I rung again yesterday and I was told that because we are claiming all 3 tax credits the computer couldnt deal with it so it has stopped issueing payment into the bank but I will receive giros from now on for working and child tax credits. The pension credit has not been affected. My husband is of pension age and he is s/e but only earns little money and so cannot sign on. Has any one else had these kind of problems. I really do not want to be paid by giro but this seems to be the only solution. Any comments appreciated
