I have an Acer Aspire 5720 and its just suddenly stopped working
When i start up the laptop it sounds as if its loading up and the lights are on (power light etc) but it just comes up with a black screen with a little white line in top left hand corner flashing, when i press any key it makes a loud beeping noise.
Does anyone have any idea on what could be wrong, or how i could fix it?
Thanks Lala

try f8 / f10/ f12 on startup (key combo sometimes differs ) and then the recovery console. also, on bootup there should be an option to access the recovery partition.BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!
