Is it normal to not have wisdom teeth yet?

Hey everyone.
I'm almost 25 and haven't got any signs of my wisdom teeth coming in yet.
I was wondering if this is normal?
I know that some people don't get them but if I understand correctly, that's a rare occurrence.
During my late teens I had 4 teeth removed to make way for braces and I was also wondering if, if I do get wisdom teeth, if because I had teeth taken out, it'll mean that I'm less likely to have problems with my wisdom teeth because there will be that extra room for them have if they do come through?
Thank you in advance,
I really hope this won't be deemed as medical advice.:o

Yes, it is normal, some people don't get them til well into their 30's.
Next time you go to the dentist ask the dentist to look at your x-rays, if you have them they will be able to see them in the gum.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Thanks hun.
I went to the dentist a few months back who did an Xray and the dentist said that she couldn't see any wisdom teeth when I asked.:o
I wasn't sure if that meant that I didn't have them, or that they just haven't surfaced yet.:o2019 Wins

I'm not an expert, but I'd say that probably means you don't have them at all. I'm one of the weirder ones - I only ever had three! I've had two removed and the third still sits below the gum. The last one isn't on any x-raysDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

I', 51 and only have 2 partly erruped wisdom teeth.0

I remember in my late teens when others were taking painkillers for their wisdom teeth coming through. Not that I envied them, but I did wonder why I didn't have any!
I've now got 2 partially through (I'm 39). Someone I know is in his mid-30s and hasn't got his wisdoms through at all. It seems to be quite common not to get them (?)0 -

I had 4 teeth taken out for braces when I was 13, and also had to have all 4 wisdom teeth out when I was 21 - so not necessarily....0 -
I don't have any wisdom teeth - they just don't exist.
It's an evolutionary advance apparently. We don't need them, so some people don't get them at all (and that proportion will continue to increase until it's rare to get them at all).Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

A couple of years ago, my boyfriend's great-granny started complaining of pain in her mouth - on going to the dentist, they discovered her wisdom teeth were coming through. She was 99 at the time.0

I dont have any either, my dentist told me that I was an evolutionarily advanced person because of this.
