Apparently I owe money
Got an email last week from British Gas saying that I owed £123 from a pay as you go meter at my previous address(we moved house 3 and half years ago)
After phoning British Gas debt dept, they,as I thought, confirmed that my account was clear, and I owed nothing.
After a few further emails both pay as you go dept and debt management are supposedly liaising to sort this out.Very concerned and worried as I know I am in the right and owe them nothing,as,previously stated,my account was cleared when we moved house.
Anyone came up against this situation before?
Anyone else I could contact?
