Kindle Books - free or cheap old style related

over the last few weeks I have downloaded a few good slow cooker recipe books.. now my question is...

can I print any off them out? I want to share them with my BIL but he doesn't have a kindle..????

Good question (I don't know the answer, sorry).

If he has a pc or a tablet, or even a smart phone, he can download the kindle app - BUT you can't share kindle books with other people in UK, like you can in US. So in order for him to read books on your kindle you would have to put his laptop/phone/whatever as a device on your amazon library. That would mean he could read any book in your library - but as far as i knnow that also means he has access to your amazon account and can place orders. I am sure you trust him, but that is potentially quite a risky business.

There are loads of free recipe books on kindle at the moment, with a few christmas craft books among them.

Go to kindle store, put ' recipe ' into search bar and then sort by price low to high (top right).

I will read almost anything on holiday, but what are your favorites and are there any to download free.

I usually forget what I have had free!

However, there is often 1 book by a particular author free, as a loss-leader. Subsequent books are to be purchased.


If you like thrillers try Dana Stabenow, books set in Alsaka, and Tim Vicary, whose main character is a woman barrister.

The 20p books are also a good bet.

Depends on what you prefer to read, check out 100 free books, also go to Books, click Advanced Search (at the top) select Kindle in the Format Box, then scroll to the bottom left and enter 0.00 - 0.01 in the Price box, then select the type of books you prefer to read for a list of free books or go to http://uk.ereaderiq.com/freebies/ for free books from Amazon.
