TSB Woes Omg

Options
Well i dont know where to start here ! way back i set up a overdraft of £200 for my currant account with tsb for a few expensives while traveling, i did miss payments for a while but i did not go over my over draft, however after 4 years now paying £20 a month im now £500 in debt with them ??? work them figures out ! i have tried speaking to them but get a non responsive tellesales person just reading from a script, i have tried asking for intrest to be stopped and no joy with that.
Today after a 45 min phone call i was told they added 2 months charges which amounted to £160 because the 6 month agreement ran out and they could not contact me ??
The agreement seems to look like this :- i pay £20 they take £5 for usage charge and then £7.99 intrest ( i was told this on the phone today) so for the £20 i pay is reduced to £7 which then does not cover the intrest on my account hence it goes up a few pound every month !
Im sorry if this message is a bit of a ramble but im sooo angry with the lack of support from that bank, i cannot phone my local bank all i get is a 0845 3000 000 number direct to india to which a either cannot understand or they will not help me in anyway, all they said was get a debt management to fix your problem Grrr.

Please help me here im so fed up with this bank ! all i want to do is pay this off and close the account.

Andy

You're post is convoluted and hard to decipher.

All I can suggest you do is sit down and work through the numbers. That will be definitely more useful than making ill-informed statements about Phonebank and getting angry at anyone but yourself.

The bank want their money back, if you want support, speak with an impartial body such as the Citizens Advice Bureau or CCCS.
Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.
