Bought somthing but available balance hasnt changed

I payed 30.60p for petrol this evening.

When checking my account this evening the avilable balance has not changed

Shouldn't it be instant?

Does this mean ive ended up with free fuel... lol

So basically if i only had 30.60p in my bank account and I spent 30.60p on petrol tonight and it hasnt affected my available balance I could then go to the cash maching and withdraw that 30 pounds in cash?? this is what I dont get its supposed to be instant isnt it!?

Depends how you bought it and whether you have an online or offline card.
E.g. if you bought it with pay@pump it only authorises £1 then charges the rest later.

Yes payed at the pump - And I did notice 1 pound had gone!

No free fuel but atleast now I know!
