Which is the best mail order or online PC component supplier? I used to use Dabs, but since they've been taken over by BT they've started a no-phone contact policy, even in the even of problems, which is unacceptable to me.

There was a thread about this recently.
I've used
https://www.ebuyer.co.uk
https://www.novatech.co.uk
https://www.scan.co.uk
https://www.dabs.co.uk
https://www.komplett.co.uk
There are lots of others but I've used all of the above.
Ebuyer are usually cheap and although I've heard bad reports I had no problem when I had to return a hard drive.
I like Novatech but they seem a bit expensive nowadays.
I've always liked Komplett, prices are not always the best but the postage tends to be reasonable and they've always been reliable.
Scan sometimes have some good 'today only' deals.
I've only used Dabs once but they were fineIt's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
I almost always use ebuyer - cheap, good review system and I've never had any problems despite countless orders from them. The odd time I've had to return something, it's done without any difficulties. I use dabs, amazon, and maplin as well.0

Best service I have had is off
https://www.overclock.co.uk and
https://www.kustompcs.co.uk - who I rate as one of the nicest companies I have ever dealt with even out side of the computer world (but they are a little dear).
but I tend to use
https://www.overclockers.co.uk most due to them being cheap and being able to select royal mail as delivery.
I despise https://www.ebuyer.co.uk with a passion, I have made about 5 orders through them and only once not been messed around by them, no more will I go near them, hower ever much they lower their prices.
edit. https://www.Scan.co.uk is also good, I check through their deal for the day most days, very cheap.0 -
I've used https://www.ebuyer.com very reliable, and https://www.aria.co.uk which are both as cheap as each other, and both reliable.
Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

I've made one or two purchases from Komplett, Kustom PC's and Overclock.co.uk in the past, but usually I look to OcUK and Tekheads for individual components.0

I always use https://www.Microdirect.co.uk
Never had a problem with them, and their prices are good.
For more specialist stuff (but with a slightly higher price often) I use https://www.overclockers.co.uk
And I always check the typical eBuyer, SavaStore etc... before buying."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
komplett and https://www.svp.co.uk
found ebuyer & overclockers to be shockingly bad for returns.0 -
Advice: I purchased some cartridges from Novatech last Sept. They are rubbish and even after 5 Emails and 2 letters they just don't want to know!
Therefore consider very very carefully before you purchase. The price may be good but the aftersales service?????? You have been warned.0
