Council tax whilst Student?

Hi, not sure which section this post belongs so move it accordingly if needed!

anyway, i'll be doing an industrial experience year next academic year as part of my degree. where do i stand in terms of council tax? do i have to pay as i'll be working, or am I still entitled to the studentness? (its part of my uni degree conditions).

Thanks

  • I was told by uni we're still students in the sense its part of the course, like a module for example! So i'm assuming we don't pay council tax :)

Year in industry? You'll still be classed as a full time student, as the placement is compulsory for your degree. So no council tax. :)
