My shower has packed in

I bought a Triton Topaz shower in June 2008 for nearly £300 from Homebase

It's now suddenly just given up the ghost.

The manufacturers guarantee is for only 2yrs but for me to pay that much and for it to last just over 3yrs I feel is ridiculous.

As the guarantee is now finished is that me pretty much screwed or are there any worthwhile avenues I can explore?

you would need to prove the fault existed - you would need to have an engineers report run to justify this - then you can dispute it with Homebase under SOGA - you would need to spend some money which you may not get back (although if there is a fault then Homebase should refund you)
