Amex Platinum Cash Back - foreign money

I've searched the rules on my Amex Platinum CashBack card, which we have had for 3 years now and made a tidy £250 a year, which is nice and much appreciated.
But I cant find out if I will get cashback when buying euros with Amex - that is if I can find an outlet which accepts Amex for foreign exchange. I want to know before I make the transaction.:):)
Does anyone have this knowledge as Google is not giving me any answers on this one.
Thanks!

Will it not count as a cash advance - incurring fees and interest which will outweigh any cashback?0

Thank you. I guess that buying euros counts as a "cash transaction" which I wasnt sure of. What about travellers cheques??? Anyway, never mind I was just being greedy.0
