When the man mentioned all the figures I denied having any loan - I'd actually forgotten about it as it was only for a very short period of time. He then suggested that my husband must have taken out the loan without telling me so now he rings up wanting to talk to my husband. I just can't seem to get rid of him. I suppose the telephone preference service doesn't apply to people who ring from abroad.

Yes you are correct it only applies to UK based callers, I just tell them to do one if they are Indian call centres, or annoy them.

Ask if they have piles and what cream they use is one I got from another post here.

My mum who's in her eighties gets a lot of these scam phone calls but she's really quite with it but pretends not to be and leads them a right merry dance!!!! I sometimes talk to them in Welsh and they soon give up.
