Burning mp3?

Sorry if i seem thick. I can use media player to burn mp3 files that seem to transform into normal cd files when I burn them to cd. How do i keep them in MP3 format so I can get many songs on 1 disk?

    using cd writing software (NERO) and create a data disc not a music cd.

    10,000 Posts Combo Breaker
    as above, be sure to burn as a data disk, WMP is defaulted to convert mp3 to wav (audio files). there are numerous free software downloads that will allow you to burn a data disk if you dont have NERO or any other cd/dvd burning software.

    My Car CD player says it will play mp3 files if its a data disc will this still work?

    yes it should play in your car. try it cd are really cheap so its worth a shot.

    havent used any of these but they are free.
