Half term holiday for 2 adults and a 5 month old baby?

Hello, I'd love suggestions for a UK break in late October (half term) for us and our new baby. I'm looking for something cheap, anywhere in England or Wales (Scotland is a bit too far), where everything is in walking distance. We don't drive. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I take it there is a reason for half term because you know it will be more expensive (must be one work thing) Do you want hotel/lodge/cottage - city/village/country - food/self catering - sometimes a 5 month old are easier to holiday with than a 5year old ( believe me its true) where are you from whats your budget ??
I ask where your from for trains & buses etc:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -
Yes, my boyfriend is a teacher so that is why we have to go in the school holidays. Thanks for your reply but I've figured something out now. We're going to go to Hastings! Not to far from us (London) and not too expensive. I'm sure it is easier while the baby is still immobile!0

Babies are like that immobile for about 18 months then mobile for about another 13 years then suddenly out of the blue loose any sort of mobility (walking and speech) at about teenager age. Ask my 14 year old and she will text you the answer when she is ready:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

Make sure you take lots of blankets for the baby as the walk along the seafront gets really windy that time of year.
Blue Dolphin fish and chips opposite the Stade amusements are the best in town IMO.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
